Leslie wearing my spare goggles (I ended using my dad's glacier goggles from when he was working for the Army in Greenland - some 45 years ago- worked great but the high contrast goggles were a lot more useful on the guides head!) - we have declared 'SUMMIT' just below the Thumb - we have been climbing up the gulch and the visibility is poor - you can't see from one end of the rope team to the other.  We ran into people who had just come down from the ridge and the conditions (about 50-100' above us) were nasty.  No visibility, high winds and gusts - not a good combination with steep slopes on both sides.  Our guides decided to bag it - which got a round of approvals from all of us
