First off - thanks to Allison, Julie and John Roehm for coming up and cheering the whole Tri Gang along- it was really great! 

This was the 3'rd time for me doing this race - but this time with Joan, Karen and Karen's friend Kim (who was doing her first Tri and scored in at a great 13'th in her age group!).  Allison was recovering from a chest cold and quite correctly decided to cheer instead

The weather was awesome but quickly heated up.  I think we were all feeling the effects of the heavy rain during the winter which cut into training time but we all had a great time
