The crew:  Me, Kaj and Steve Talmage

- a great time on North Palisade - part of a 14,200+ granite massif outside of Bishop CA (along with The Sill, Starlight and Thunderbolt).  We all summitted easily and had a wonderful time despite some equipment snafus - both Kaj and I were so busy we neglected to bring all equipment needed.  Kaj unfortunately had to rent boots and the heel box was too wide - blister city.  In true Nordic fashion - no wingeing from him!  Steve had altitude induced lack of sleep but also soldiered up and down without complaint.  Both are hard men...
